Mauren und Christen, Moraira

It takes place over a week, although the main days are the last three days. During the week we will find activities such as the “presentation of flags”, the traditional music concert or the children’s drawing competition.
On Friday take place the Flower Offering and the spectacular evening act of the “Conquista Mora”- Moorish Conquest- on the beach of l’Ampolla.On Saturday afternoon we should not miss the show of the “Reconquista” – Reconquest -, also on the beach of l’Ampolla and around the “Castell de Moraira”.
The fiesta culminates with the grandiose Gala Parade that runs through the streets of the urban centre. All the “filades”, dressed in spectacular clothing, parade in squad formation preceding the captains “filades “of each side, the Christian and the Moor.
On Saturday night, after the official acts, the captains “filades” offer live music to residents and visitors.
